Summary
The causes of noise pollution in the water are humans. It is the sonar blasts of military exercises, the booms from air guns used in oil and gas exploration, and the whine from fleets of commercial ships that relentlessly crisscross the global seas. Nature has its own undersea noises that bother no one and affect no one. However, the new noises from the humans are loud and disturbing. In fact, marine experts claim that the noise is becoming dangerous to whales. Since it is now so noisy, the whales can no longer depend on their acute hearing to locate food, which will cause them to starve and die off.
Reaction
In mu opnion, It is not fair that the whales have obviously been in the waters longer than humans have. these whales have been disturbed by us human in many ways. They have not only disturbed, but devastated. It is not fair for the whales to die off because of a problem that the humans aren't even trying to fix.
Summary
This article explains how air pollution has an effect on us. It tells that many researchers have been noticing this and how it can hurt your health in many ways, even if you cannot physically see the change. Ohio State University has already linked air pollution to high blood pressure, an now believe air pollution will cause changes in the human brain. The changes tare harmful and may potentially cause problems with not only learning but memorizing as well. Ohio State has been doing many experiments and studies on this to gain further knowledge. The researches carried out their experiments on mice as their subjects. The results showed that the more the mice were exposed to air pollution, the greater the damage.
Reaction
I think this article told me what I already knew. Air pollution is harmful to you, just as any other type of pollution is. Knowing that the pollution is causing changes in the human brain just makes the problem more serious than we had already believed it to be. I hope that many will start to recognize this and make changes to their daily life so that less pollution will be in the air we breathe.
